As removed from Parliament House Canberra, communications system upgrade - not due to a fault.
Pacific Broadband Networks (PBN)
Optical Field Node Receiver
Model: AMCP1315
Optional RBM-RLN TX module is NOT fitted
Designed to receive and convert optical signals with wavelengths of 1200nm to 1600nm to radio frequency (RF) signals of 45 MHz to 870 MHz.
The optional plug-in return path laser module (PBM-RLN) and diplex filters provide an extremely versatile optical node capable of two-way optical communication
Designed for CATV/MATV and CCTV applications, the PBN AMCP1315's compact size and superior optical and RF performance provides the ideal choice for indoor optical nodes
Module indicators - controls are:
Optical input - SC/APC connector
RF Slope
RF Gain
RF Test
RF Output
Reverse Output
IEC AC power input socket
Power ON LED
Level LED
Dimensions (including backplate for mounting) 298mm x 200mm x 52mm
COSMETIC CONDITION:
Very good condition
All labelling is clear
No damage to the case
TESTING:
AC 240V operation via the IEC socket
Power ON LED (green) indicates
Level LED is orange (meaning there is no optical signal being received)
No further testing is possible as I am not able to provide the correct optical signals via fiber to feed into this RX
This will work with the PBN LT1310 I have advertised separately, creating a very good 1310nm optical link for signals in the 45Mhz to 1Ghz region (typically CATV and similar)
