This is a vocal processor for the talent who doesn't have the luxury (who does these days? costs of such luxuries can be very high) of harmony backup singers and this equipment is designed to allow you to create realistic representations of up to 5 backup singers but it does a lot more than this with the extreme flexibility of the 100 presets and editing of those presets to suit your own sound.

Our experience has been nothing but very good to excellent. Our audio production facilities used to loan out this gear to artists and we never had an issue with it at all. Probably the worst feature is the steep learning curve because it can do so much (limited by the artist) and like all new things, it takes time to wrap your head around it.

COSMETIC CONDITION:
Obviously it has been used at gigs and in-house for special studio work. This is built tough (all metal casing - no plastic!)

Clear easy to read LED display for all lighting conditions

TESTING:

Fully functioning when placed into storage but taken out and fired up again for some basic tests.
Checked all the presets function and settled on my personal favourite "Clouds" which is sort of a very long reverb reverb reverb reverb
Being just a simple quick setup, fed a microphone in but no instrument.
Proceeded having great fun and listened particularly to noise levels (no audio extraneous noise) and of course sound quality from the analog output

I am happy that this gear is performing exactly as it always has and was intended to do when it was new.

NOTE: This unit will only power from AC 240V, it is not a truly portable piece of gear.

The manual is clear and very precise in giving instructions for the most simple of tasks AND for special purposes such as editing any of the voice parameters.

Sure, it's getting on a bit in age now (aren't we all?) but still performs an admirable job for the talent (don't we all?)

The biggest drawback with these originally was their price, VERY HIGH at the time but now you can own on of these "magic boxes" for a much more reasonable sum.
