HISTORY:
Ex a lovely analog late 1970's T2 LUXMAN AM/FM Tuner which has become an "organ donor" due to a damaged casing.
Not so sure about the usefulness of this module but as I have extracted it from the tuner, here it is!
Looks like a relay but in fact it is a special Low Pass filter network packed into a sealed plastic casing. This filter sits on the output (one for each channel) of the FM Stereo decoder integrated circuit uPc1173 and passes the filtered output to the low level audio system of the T-2
No schematics for the inside of this module but I would expect it is passives only.
5x PC pins on the base for direct soldering into the PCB (situated right next to the variable capacitor assembly.
LUXMAN T-2 TUNER - Low Pass Filter Module (Audio)
Manufacturer: LUXMAN
Made in Japan
Part # LA-1191
Rectangular Black packaging, very similar looking to an electro-mechanical relay
It MAY be possible to open up the casing but I didn't want to risk destroying the plastic so it has been left sealed
DIMENSIONS:
32.90mm length x 18mm height x 12.5mm wide
COSMETIC CONDITION:
USED
NO damage to the casing
NO PCB pin damage
This LP module has now been safely sealed in clear plastic, awaiting another T-2 for restoration
