Removed from another of my studio off-air monitoring tuners, the NAD 4155 (yes I had two of these nice tuners, one was a "backup" unit)
Main board has failed and the equipment was not considered economical to repair, now it has been "parted out"
THIS DISPLAY MODULE WITH ALL ASSOCIATED FRONT PANEL SWITCHES (AS SHOWN IN THE PHOTOGRAPHS) IS FULLY FUNCTIONING.
Unfortunately I was a bit hasty when removing this module from the tuner and didn't take a photograph of it "turned on" but it does work, nice bright green/blue VFD
NAD AM/FM Tuner (SPARE PART ONLY)
Model: 4155
Made in Japan
1985 release
PART:
Front Panel VFD (Vacuum Flourescent Display) and associated control switches
Australian 240V model
COSMETIC CONDITION:
Very good - excellent
Display glass face is clear, clean and unscratched
Solder tabs are ready for reinstallation in another 4155 tuner.
I am NOT supplying the support brackets, screws etc - the user will most likely already have these with their own faulty unit
Re-installing is not a difficult job, easy to access and single sided soldering, no through holes to worry about.
All PCB microswitches are functioning fine.
This display assembly is now sealed in plastic to preserve the condition.
