HISTORY:
In our previous audio post production business we experimented with many different loudspeaker systems and their components. This is now a LONG time ago and while sorting through my box of spare parts I came across yet another spare inductor ready for a custom crossover network.
UNBRANDED - Crossover Network Inductor (1)
Plastic former, outside diameter 70mm, inside diameter 22mm one end and the other has just a 6mm hole and former height 25.5mm
The centre of the former could be thought of as "countersunk", if using a bolt to secure it then the bolt is well inside the centre OR you could fit a ferrite ring (around 20mm diameter) inside the centre and substantially increase the inductance further.
Enamelled wire 0.8mm diameter
Measured inductance 2.47mH
DC resistance 2R3 Ohm
Now packed away in clear plastic and hopefully someone will see potential as part of their own custom crossover network design.
