I have a quantity of empty 7" R2R tape spools, mixed manufacturers
Primarily they are BASF EMI RCA IRISH & SCOTCH
EMI & BASF product is made In England
SCOTCH RCA IRISH are made in USA
7" plastic spool for 1/4" audio tape
ALL SPOOLS ARE EMPTY
I have despooled all tape - tape shedding is such an issue with old magnetic tape that I will not offer the tape, just the spools. Also the material on the spools was subject to copyright so all of the tape content has been destroyed.
MOST (but not all) are in the original boxes
All are standard storage cardboard boxes, hinged on one side however the BASF boxes use a corner pivot and inside some of the BASF are the unusual green plastic.
Clean boxes, although some have previous recording info written on them.
PLEASE NOTE: The boxes have that "I'm old and slightly mildew" type smell from being in the storage units for many many years. A good "airing" along with some air-freshener wouldn't go amiss!
SPOOL CONDITION:
Clean spools with no writing on the spools at all
NO damage to the spools, all have been inspected carefully for cracks/splits - there are none
Spools are all flat (not warped) perfect to load back up with nice fresh tape.
