Before the advent of Neutrik Speakon connectors, it was common to find speaker cables with these 1/4" jack plugs but most PA speaker systems now use Speakon connectors, although just to confuse matters you can get a Neutrik combo connector which will accept the old style 1/4" jack as well as a Speakon connection.
For use with PA speaker systems
Single channel i.e for PA systems
8 metres length
Based on the thickness of the condustors, this cable will be fine up to at least 50W RMS audio, assuming a 4 Ohm speaker load
Vintage Neutrik (NEUTRIK is stamped into the jack body - not the corporate logo but the actual word) jack plugs
Nice flexible sheath which has no printing on it
Inside there are 2x 20 SWG multistrand conductors and a string (or jute?) type material to provide strength to the cable - THERE IS NO SHIELD!
This lead looks the same as an ordinary TS low level audio cable but if you accidently used them for that purpose they would sound absolutely terrible - there is no shield being used.
ONLY for use with speaker bins
I would be a good idea to tag or label this cable as it can very easily be confused with a normal audio cable.
