Removed from another of my studio off-air monitoring tuners, the NAD 4155 (yes I had two of these nice tuners, one was a "backup" unit)
Main board has failed and the equipment was not considered economical to repair, now it has been "parted out"
NAD AM/FM Tuner (SPARE PART ONLY)
Model: 4155
Made in Japan
1985 release
PART:
Rear panel mounted antenna input components:
AM Ferrite Rod antenna assembly
AM - FM Connector strip assembly
FM Belling Lee antenna socket
Complete with mounting screws (2) for the connector strip
The ferrite rod assembly and the FM antenna input socket are both push-click fixtures, no screws are used
COSMETIC CONDITION:
Very good - excellent
TESTING:
Prior to dismantling, the 4155 was tested and these connectors used for tuner testing - no issues at all. Contacts are clean.
In order to remove these from the system, some desoldering was necessary i.e the FM antenna coax has been lifted off the main board, the single wire interconnect between the connector strip and the FM belling lee socket has been desoldered. The AM Ferrite rod assembly uses a plug/socket arrangement so this remains intact.
These parts are now sealed in plastic to preserve their condition.
