Another microphone from our old audio production days, one of the many in our arsenal at the time.

Well made physically but this must be considered as an entry level microphone, suitable things like Karaoke or perhaps instrument miking work.

Not in the class of a Shure or AKG but a good sounding microphone none-the-less

Very good body - no physical damage at all

NO damage to the head, this microphone has a very strong steel head with "bounce back" rubber ring

THERE IS SOME SILVER PEN MARKING RESIDUE LEFT ON THE BODY (not in the photograph) which I have been unable to remove

Inside the head is clean, the internal pop filter is excellent and not degraded

TESTING:

Plugged into the desk today and all is well, no issues with the audio and no movement created noises!

Definitely favours high end, which gives vocals "presence" and punch but the bass end is lacking (see the frequency response photographs, note the low end drop off and rapid increase in response above around 8K)

There is an on-off switch, it is working fine although operation of it does give a "thump" to the audio signal.

Absolutely fine for general karaoke vocals, probably require some experimentation to get a decent instrument or cabinet miking though. I saw some reviews comparing this to an SM57 - no way jose, nothing like a Shure to be truthful (tell 'em they're dreaming)
