This cable is not your ordinary 2 channel audio type, it is used to connect a turntable to the pre-amplifier and has an additional signal ground conductor.
Extremely useful if the family pet has chewed through/destroyed your existing turntable audio output lead or you have picked up a nice turntable but the audio lead is damaged or missing.
Soldering skills are required to use this cable
Turntable Audio Lead
Unbranded
Bare cable 2x channels PLUS a signal ground wire
TO
2x RCA male plugs PLUS a signal ground wire
Nickel plated, moulded RCA connectors
110cm length
Black cable sheath (unbranded)
Just to make it very clear, this is NOT the tonearm wiring that runs from the headshell to the audio sub-board inside the turntable.
This is the cable that goes from the audio sub-board to the "outside world" (a standalone preamp or a nice amplifier with phono inputs built in), usually via some sort of strain relief clamp.
The additional signal ground wire is very important to prevent the creation of "ground loops" that will result in hum on your beautiful analog audio output.
USED but there is no damage to the RCA connectors nor the cable itself
