OLD stock but very good condition
I am cleaning up ALL the various leads, patch cables etc that we had on hand hanging in the audio workshop area. Each lead is advertised separately and I have attempted to provide as much information as possible about each lead.
ALL have been professionally assembled, using high quality components, no point in testing pro audio gear with dodgy leads!
Here is one of those leads ...
TURNTABLE Audio Signal Lead
2x RCA Right Angle male plugs to 2x RCA Right Angle male plugs
RCA connectors are Gold plated
Between the two cores of the cable runs a single (copper stranded) Earth or Ground wire - bare (no connector) at each end
Cable is NOT branded although it "feels" very nice, "rubber like" similar to a Mogami cable feel
Cable sheath in fact has no markings of any kind along the entire length
RCA connectors (Colour coded in standard Red & Black are moulded to the cable) and are also not manufacturer identified
CABLE INFORMATION:
Two cores, lying side by side with the ground wire running between.
Each core measures 5mm OD
Width of the cable (including the central ground conductor) is 11.5mm
DC TESTING:
Each RCA connector signal path is totally isolated from any other i.e Ground connections have no common point between each channel and of course are completely isolated from the central ground wire. This allows for very low level signal interconnects without the dreaded Ground loops being created (50Hz Hummmmmmmm)
Capacitance test of each core came up with 25pF/foot
COSMETIC CONDITION:
USED
CLEAN
NO cable sheath damage or user created "ID markings"
NO damage to any of the RCA male plugs
Now that my examination of this lead has been completed, it is now in a sealed clear plastic packet waiting for a new owner
