HISTORY:
I am cleaning up ALL the various leads, patch cables etc that we had on hand hanging around in the audio production studio(s) area. Each lead is advertised separately and I have attempted to provide as much information as possible about this lead.
This cable length is just 2 metres but if you have the soldering skills, can easily be made into a two channel pair, each of 1 metre length
Interdyn is a well known name amongst audio "purist" circles but in our humble opinion, while it is good it is a bit 'over-rated"
You need to be very objective when it comes to audio leads, there are a LOT of "snake oil" marketing techniques out there!
Large diameter (8mm+) audio cables are desirable due to their inherent generally lower capacitance between conductors but a bit cumbersome and heavy plus you need to find good quality connectors with large entry ports.
This lead has original Gold plated connectors at each end but the 'body" is missing! Useable as they are but not exactly pretty looking! This lead was actually going to have the connectors upgraded to WBT (German) connectors but we never got around to doing it ....
We never had problems with audio noise or loss of high frequencies/muddiness but the capacitance tests show it is really 'not that startling' in this regard, our double core Silver braid cable was much better.
