SCART was a French standard for video/audio connections and it was widely adopted in Europe especially.
Depending upon the country, the SCART standard is also known as:
EuroSCART
EuroConector
EuroAV
EIA Multiport
Used to carry composite and RGB video, stereo audio and digital signals.
Video standards used with SCART were 720i, 720p, 1080i, 1080p with YPbPr
Largely replaced by HDMI now but the connector can still be found on some VCR (particularly SVHS equipment) and other video equipment
Generic SCART Interconnect Cable
SCART 21 pin male to 6x RCA male plugs
All RCA connectors are identified on each cable sheath
2x RED: Analog audio input and output RIGHT
2x WHITE: Analog audio input and output LEFT
2x YELLOW: Composite video input and output
Length: 1.4m
NOTE: Technically this is identical to the other full inputs & outputs SCART interconnect I have but this cable is (in my opinion) a higher grade manufacture, especially the nice outer sheath.
