Aluminium knob (USED)
No idea about the country of manufacture but I suspect it was Japan. The equipment it was removed from used a mixture of Japanese and New Zealand made components.
Indented black line pointer (on the side)
Solid (one piece) aluminium - plastic abounds these days, it's nice to see a good old machined solid aluminium knob again and no this is not one of your metallised plastic "fake" knobs (metalised on the outside but plastic inside)
Small knob
12mm diameter
12mm height
1/4" shaft fitting with side grub screw (slot head)
Extensively machined, a lot of work went into manufacturing this knob.
COSMETIC CONDITION:
Excellent, clean and no wear observed
Because the pointer line is down the side of the knob, the pointer location in relation to a scale etc is best viewed from the side or above. Viewing "front on" makes it very hard to see where the pointer is.
Since removal, this knob is now stored safely in sealed plastic.
