All plastic with a top light Cream/Green top insert, I believe this is also plastic

Black body
All plastic construction
Coloured (something like a light Cream/Green) insert at the top of the knob. This insert has a matt finish and I believe it is also plastic.
Ribbed sides for easy grip
Skirt (small) around the base
Standard round fluted shaft fitting
Slightly bevelled sides with ribbing, slight recess at the top into which is fitted the coloured cap insert and at the base is a small skirt
The pointer is visible from top/front view and is an extension of the plastic running all the way down the side to the skirt
DIMENSIONS:
Diameter: 10.6mm (top of body) ~ 12.1mm (bottom of body) with the skirt being 15.75mm diameter
Height: 20.5mm
Shaft is 5mm diameter
No idea about the country of manufacture although I strongly suspect Japan (origin of the original equipment)
This type of knob was commonly used on many different rack outboard audio processing equipment in the 1970's ~ 1980's
