The outer body is REAL Aluminium with a plastic insert to receive a 1/4" fluted control shaft

Aluminium is REAL metal, approximately 1.25mm thickness (not coated or sprayed on!)
Matt Black coating used on all areas of the knob, nice finish
Fluted 1/4" receptacle for a shaft
A pointer line runs across the top from the centre and completely down one side. This pointer 'groove' has no infill colouring
Straight sides
No identification could be found on the knob

NO markings
NO discolouration, the 'Blackness' is even all over, in fact I suspect this has been anodised.
