HISTORY:
Sustainability is the name of the game! Anything (that has been tested and still functioning properly) should be repurposed creating saving in wasted Ee and reducing the poisoning our environment when items are buried in the earth at the local tip needlessly.
Never heard of Ee? It is a concept that creates a measurement of ALL things (not just electronics) that humans have made and the energy used in obtaining the raw material, processing the materials right through to a finished product and even should include the shipping of the item to the distributors/retailers.
If you would like to know more about Ee values, please take a look HERE
This electronic component is brand new, old stock.
AMPHENOL - XLR Plug
Genuine product: stamped into the top of the metal body 'AMPHENOL'
Gender: Female
Series # AC3F
Diecast zinc body (Silver colour) with a Black plastic rear "boot" (screw on), plastic "squeeze" cable clamp inside the boot and a rubber cable strain relief exit plug
Silver plated contacts 1,2,3
Rear solder well terminals
3 Pin female plug commonly used for balanced analog signal routing, microphones and instruments and not so much these days, AES/EBU which is a digital interconnect system (PCM) once commonly used in the broadcast industry.
Assembling a lead with these is dead easy and once soldering is completed, just screw the two halves of the body together, this brings the fingers of the internal plastic cable clamp closer to each other, resulting in a very tight secure grip on the cable sheath inside the plug.
NOTE: I forgot to include those cable clamps in the photograph but of course they are supplied
COSMETIC CONDITION:
NEW but old stock
Absolutely no degradation of the metalwork, plastic boot, cable clamp or the cable exit plug
Stored and supplied in individual sealed packets
