NEW Old stock
Ex our workshop spare parts - at the time (early 2000's), these were very expensive (through Farnell/Element 14) at around A$12 each
We used these connectors for our audio studio work, for analog signal interconnects as they are easy to assemble, fully shrouded 'hot' side and use the collet system for cable strain relief. Nice to use in practice too because of their knurled finger rings on the body.
These are FIVE piece sub-components with the insulator around the centre hot pin being PTFE so they don't whimp out at the first sight of a hot soldering iron!
We used these to assemble all types of interconnect leads around 15 years ago and it does seem that this range has now been discontinued by Multicomp, at least I cannot find anyone selling them new any longer.
