Stamped into the plug end section (in an arc) is
SWITCHCRAFT
BEWARE of fake or "rip off" 236's, look for the STAMPED SWITCHCRAFT on the plug - fakes of these plugs abound because they are not cheap (Element 14 lists at A$14 each) which means it is worthwhile for some dodgy manufacturers to rip off the Switchcraft name.
Orientation: Right Angle
Type: Tip/Ring/Sleeve (used for "stereo" 2 channel audio or balanced leads - also commonly referred to as Phone plugs)
Finish: Chrome plating on an all metal body with knurled finger grips

These have been stored as the three separate components and this is the way they will be supplied - not assembled. The major reason for this is that to fit the body over the plug I would need to slightly push in the cable grip tabs and I don't wish to do that.
