Type: 3 pole connections in a chassis mounting locking female socket, rectangular flange design
Pin 1 is forward of the other pins (normally Ground or Return) so that it is the last connection to "break" and the first connection to "make" - no BUZZ or loud 50Hz hum upon insertion/removal of the plug.
All metal construction, including the lock

I believe this is an earlier production to the XLR-3-13's I have HERE because there is the part number stamped into the body of these sockets and the rear barrel on these connectors is the same diameter from the front to the rear.
