As removed from a first generation CD player, the Pioneer PD-5010
These CD mechanism front plates always seem to go missing or get broken, this item will solve the problem
Offered as spare parts for the same machine or possibly other Pioneer or non-Pioneer equipment - please read the description and check thoroughly before purchasing
Pioneer CD Player PM-5010 SPARE PART
CD Tray - Front Plate ONLY
All black with this text:
Top right section has a large "Compact Disc Digital Audio" logo
Lower left section has SENSORED TRAY
No other printing at all - no brand name, model number etc
To remove or replace these, you must first open the CD tray (push eject or do it manually if the drive has no power)
The face plate has slots down each side, these mate with corresponding ridges at the front of the CD tray.
When the front panel has been carefully pushed down far enough, two small catches on the CD tray engage with two small rectangular cutouts inside the face plate, locking the face plate in place.
To remove is the reverse procedure but it is very important to gently allow the two "fingers" on the CD tray to release from the face plate first, otherwise you are going to break the plastic!
I have seen these face plates on other "older" CD player equipment so just because your CD tray isn't in a Pioneer machine does not necessarily mean it will not fit.
FACE PLATE DIMENSIONS:
150mm wide
35mm height
7mm thick
2 locking rectangular slots (inside the face plate) are 89mm apart
COSMETIC CONDITION:
Clean
No scratching or marks
Since removal, this face plate has been stored in sealed plastic and will be supplied the same.
