There are CD players and then there are CD players!
If you are looking for a very nice sound, this vintage unit from Luxman will most likely satisfy your ears. But don't take my word for it - do some research online, lots of users are happy to tell the world about their great DZ-111's!
Even though dated, these Luxman players will still run rings around much later models from other manufacturers.

ITEMS NOT SUPPLIED
No user manual - easy to use anyway
No remote - always the problem with this audio gear, the remote has gone "missing in action"
Actually we always kept technical information on hand about our equipment so if the buyer REALLY wanted it, I can supply pdf's of the User Manual and Service Manual - just ask.
COSMETIC CONDITION:
In very good condition, case is not dented or otherwise damaged!
Light blue display is large, clear and easy to read - we actually liked this display very much because it is clear but not too bright for low ambient light levels.
Front panel is clean with no label damage
TESTING:
This is another of our long term "consumer level" CD players from studio 1 in our audio production days. As this was used primarily for client "critical listening" to pre-production master CD's, and this player was just one of many, the DZ-111 had occasional use only. Straight forward to use, never missed a beat and very nice sound.
Since closing our audio production facilities down, this player has been stored in our storage units, so over the last few weeks I have been using this player constantly to check everything is fine - no issues at all.
CD tray opens/closes fine
Tested just prior to this listing, period of 2 weeks continuous use playing the CD's I am listing online
Plays both standard audio CD's and audio CD-R's - this will NOT play MP3 (why on earth would you want to?)
Optical reading of the CD TOC is rapid
Playing of the CD tracks is without issues - certainly no "skipping" etc - laser assembly would appear to be fine
