NOTE: The photograph is not very clear, my photography equipment cannot handle taking good clear photos of such small items. My visual examination was made under strong light and with a magnifying glass so I can see the head face clearly.
The face is clean and shiny
Wear is not heavy and is even, alignment previously was correct for the tape path
Both channels look fine, no signs of the gap opening up
Record - Playback Head testing
The "donor" machine was fully operational until it became my sacrificial lamb - audio was good
DC resistance of each channel at the head is 280 Ohm
