NEW Old Stock
I am cleaning up ALL the various leads, patch cables, components and equipment from my previous audio post production business. While I wouldn't really stretch this to be compared with a nice audio interface for professional use such as our TC Electronics gear, this UCA200 will be fine for the "home studio" recordist or just for plain old fun!
For the money, this unit represents pretty good "bang for your buck!"
I think our sound engineer just plugged this UCA200 into one of his machines and had a play around, for fun, and then put it back in the box and on the workshop spare parts shelves where it has been sitting ever since. Curiousity was always his "thing"!
BEHRINGER - Audio Interface
Designed in Germany
Manufactured in China
Model: UCA200
This is the early release of the unit, current models are the UCA202 & UCA222 however those later units just have "bells & whistles" added, the basic functionality of the units is the same.
2x analog input channels
2x analog output channels
Both the inputs & outputs are "line level" signals
Inputs & Outputs are unbalanced using RCA connectors
32, 44.1 & 48Khz A~D conversion capable
Manual quotes the frequency response 10Hz - 20K for 44.1 and 10Hz - 22K for 48K sample rate
Powered and controlled via a USB interface with your digital audio workstation, Windoz or Mac based
This is a new package (Whitebox) and the unit is still in the original "Whitebox" along with a plastic packet inside BUT the software drivers (needed so that this unit can talk to your DAW) will need to be sorted out by the new owner.
SPECIAL NOTE: A bit of a conflict here (regarding drivers) because the Behringer manual indicates NO drivers are needed but I see online that many do offer drivers, so go figure!
I made a quick look around online and found a site HERE which has the Windoz drivers (they don't say which Win version but I suspect it is going to be an OLD version of Windows)
I did find at least one Youtube video of a guy giving a review of the UCA200, he does tend to "draw out" his review (runs for 9 minutes but could have been done in less than a minute!)
COSMETIC CONDITION:
NEW but opened (I think) for the sound engineer yonks ago, then replaced back in the box
Plain whitebox packaging
Internally packed in the original plastic packaging
NO other cables are provided other than the USB cable for connection to your DAW
Unmarked condition
NO damage
Now that my inspection is complete, it has been packed into the box and the whole packaging sealed within clear plastic to maintain the condition.
