To be honest I cannot recall (and did not record) which equipment these knobs were removed from, possibly an old style home "all in one" stereo system but that idea is only a vague "thought bubble"
Please look at the photographs and read the description below to try and ascertain if these knobs might suit your own equipment
Set of equipment knobs and buttons
10 items in total
ALL knobs are a solid aluminium (outer) turned metal with plastic inserts
The aluminium is real aluminium, not the "spray on" metallic finish found on some el-cheapo products.
KNOB & BUTTON DESCRIPTIONS:
3x round aluminium knobs (with plastic insert)
Fluted 1/4" shaft fitting
17mm diameter x 15mm length
Black indented pointer
Black plastic "finger ring" all around the knob body (for the user to hold the knob securely)
1x round aluminium knobs (with plastic insert)
Fluted 1/4" shaft fitting
17mm diameter x 15mm length
Black indented pointer
Black plastic "finger ring" all around the knob body with "wings" which act as a pointer (for the user to hold the knob securely)
1x round aluminium knob (with plastic insert)
Fluted 1/4" shaft fitting
19mm diameter x 17mm length
NO pointer
Black plastic "finger ring" all around the knob body (for the user to hold the knob securely)
2x round aluminium knobs (with plastic insert)
Slot fitting, these are intended for toggle switches
13mm diameter x 16mm length
NO pointer or finger ring
2x round aluminium/plastic buttons (top half is aluminium and the lower half plastic)
+ style female receptacle designed to fit onto a push button shaft
8mm diameter x 17mm length (7mm aluminium & 10mm black plastic)
1x round black plastic button (all plastic)
7mm diameter x 10mm length
Concave shaped button tip, to fit the contours of a finger tip
+ style female receptacle designed to fit onto a push button shaft
All items are clean, unscratched
All plastic (EXCEPT the knob with wings) is in very good condition, no splits
I do notice that the fluted plastic shaft on the knob "with wings" appears to have a small side crack inside - the ability to hold onto a fluted shaft looks unaffected but perhaps a small dab of good glue may be required here (to stabilise the plastic shaft)
Quite unusual knobs and buttons, hope someone can find a use for these
Since removal, I have now carefully packed and sealed these knobs and buttons in sealed plastic to keep out dust.
