SMOKEY reels are beautiful!
You have your lovely open reel tape machine and now it needs to be "dressed up"! Sure, if you have one of the larger machines, it is natural to find some nice Aluminium 10.5" reels and turned Aluminium NAB adaptors but a set of decent SMOKEYplastic reels is another option AND it is far, far lower cost!
But wait there's more ....
This empty spool comes in a very nice lockable White Library case.

THIS TAPE SPOOL IS EMPTY - NO TAPE!
INCLUDES a superb strong, lockable plastic outer case for archiving.
Case is SONY product and originally housed the SLH Series of tape - the label remains on the case
Orange button on of the case is pushed down and this releases the front door to extract the tape reel
The "front side" of the case has an indented strip with clips to hold a paper identification label (user created)
COSMETIC CONDITION:

The plastic reel has been despooled of tape and has had the original SLH half reel label removed.
While not pristine, the plastic spool is in good cosmetic condition
NO user markings
NO damage to the spool physically
An obvious label remains on the library case, this could be removed but a warning ... there is a lot of glue underneath that label to remove!
The White case is clean and unmarked
Locking mechanism works just fine
Both the spool and the library case are straight and true!
NO mildew spots or funny smells (stored in a clean, dry, dark environment)

Since taking the photographs, I have now placed this SONY R2R 7" spool with library case within sealed clear plastic to preserve the condition for the new owner
