EUROCARD is a developed industry mechanical standard, setting out a standardised format of dimensions for both rack cards, sub racks and 19" rack frames.
The Eurocard standard has become widely adopted in Engineering Design and Research & Development fields - it is a mechanical standard and a little like the old Meccano system of years gone by, having a wide range of accessory choices which can be mixed/matched to create the required configuration within a 19" sub-rack system.
USED Clean panels
These are very well engineered VERO front panels with pre-punched holes for attachment handles, Eurocard support elbows and Eurocard locking screws
These VERO Eurocard panels were removed from 3RU broadcasting R&D systems, in the interests of sustainability AND saving a lot of money - these VERO products are great but when purchased new, VERY expensive
VERO is a name that is very well known in the enclosure hardware world but also known to be very expensive (quality is never cheap!)
Take a look at HERE for loads of information about professional equipment enclosures from VERO Technologies
If the thought has crossed your mind "I wonder if he has any complete rack sub-frames?" - Sorry all of those items found new owners quite a while ago
But I do have quite a few of the "accessories" and you can easily see what I have HERE
VERO - Eurocard Front Panel
Genuine Vero Technologies product
Made in UK
Anodised aluminium (both sides)
Aluminium is 3mm thick (there is no way you can bend these "out of shape"
3U x 8HP (40.3mm wide)
Take a look at one of the included diagrams to see far more detailed about this panel
ABC workshops have added TWO HOLES. I have multiple panels and each is IDENTICAL with regard to the holes, their size and spacing
I have called these front panels, Type I. The type number is based upon the spacing between each hole.
ADDED HOLE DETAILS:
Number of holes: 2
Diameter of each: 6.25mm (originally for fitting C&K toggle switches or front panel status LEDs)
Both holes are NOT countersunk
Each hole is centred on the panel
Uppermost hole is 30.5mm from the top of the panel
Lower hole is 54mm from the bottom of the panel
This means the distance between the two holes is 42.5mm
COSMETIC CONDITION:
USED
Clean (some very light ~ light marks may exist on some panels, none are serious)
NO physical damage to the panel
NO prior labelling exists - I have cleaned off all labelling, which was a Letraset style of label with a sticky backing
Each panel has now been individually sealed in a clear plastic pack, awaiting a new purpose in life!
