EUROCARD is a developed industry mechanical standard, setting out a standardised format of dimensions for both rack cards, sub racks and 19" rack frames.
The Eurocard standard has become widely adopted in Engineering Design and Research & Development fields - it is a mechanical standard and a little like the old Meccano system of years gone by, having a wide range of accessory choices which can be mixed/matched to create the required configuration within a 19" rack system.
Ok, you have your rack sub-frame populated with all those module cards and while it might be "impressive" to have all those cards and their indicators showing for all to see, it is nice if you can have a frame front panel which hides all those modules in normal use. Something needs to be checked, then just drop down the front panel and you have full access to the modules.

100% DIN41612 compatibility, meaning this panel will suit use with ANY 3RU sub-frame that complies with this DIN standard
All holes are pre-punched, very easy to assemble and fit to your 3RU sub-frame
Two green plastic bezels (one at each end of the front panel) which are usually used to indicate POWER ON, the power supply modules will have green LED's at the front and these two bezels allow the user receive visual feedback that the power is "up"

Straight and true, no bends
No physical damage at all to the panel
Side metal strips are very delicate and "springy" so these just need to be fitted carefully before using the panel door.
