At approximately the halfway point along the lead is an inline ON-OFF switch, this is a heavy duty (full 10A capable) double pole (meaning both Active & Neutral are switched) sealed switch from HPM (not a third party add-on)

All identification and Safety standards compliance is stamped into the moulded connectors and the inline switch
TESTING:
Being used, safety is the name of the game!
Tested the insulation resistance between all three leads, all is fine.
Tested the Earth continuity - all good here also
Tested the switch operation, it is also fine and the ON resistance is extremely low
COSMETIC CONDITION:
USED (very infrequently)
CLEAN
NO sheath damage
NO connector damage at either end

At the socket there were 3 holes intentionally drilled into the body front to suit our own purposes at the time. These holes are now filled with epoxy and do not present any danger or weaknesses to the socket - in the photograph they are the three Black dots you can see.
Now packed into a sealed clear plastic packet and it will be supplied the same way
