HISTORY:
My "world" is 'the arts' and more specifically, music, artwork and hand crafted/decorated chinaware's.
I am not a film enthusiast but an associate has asked me to find new owners for THEIR large collection of photographic and film items ... this is one of those items.
While the world of 8mm/Super 8mm is not my area of expertise, I am doing my best to establish the condition of each item that I am listing.

Now, on with the description ...
Classic action drama horror(?) from the late 1970's - oh my what big teeth you have! Opening scenes of this monster devouring a water skier and then attempting to eat a boat but the lady onboard managed to set it on fire first - BBQ boat for the shark. Not a lot of dialogue in these opening minutes that I viewed, loads of action and scene setting background sounds!

Film reel case is special to Universal, stamped into the White plastic and "patent pending" - note the different reel support inside which holds the reel more securely.

COSMETIC CONDITION:
USED
CLEAN
Outer cardboard slip cover has seen some handling wear and some bottom edge repair (with tape) but overall it remains in good condition.
Inner White special reel case is in very good condition, hinge is secure, no cracks and no personal markings or writing
Film reel is clean and undamaged, with no "strange smells" such as vinegar.
TESTING:
Tested with the ELMO ST 1200 I have available, and away we go ....
I have around 2 minutes off the reel for testing
Leader film is fine and is actually KODAK.
Colour film and this does show "Red shift" but I must say that the Red is not as dominant as I have seen in the other films I have tested. I can still see Yellows, Greens etc but not a lot of Blue. Images are all clear and sharp.
Sound is good, crisp and clear so I had no trouble following what was going on.
I am very fastidious and careful with these Super 8 films and I have now packed the film package within sealed, clear plastic while it awaits a new owner
