HISTORY:

My "world" is 'the arts' and more specifically, music, artwork and hand crafted/decorated chinaware's.

I am not a film enthusiast but an associate has asked me to find new owners for THEIR large collection of photographic and film items ... this is one of those items.

While the world of 8mm/Super 8mm is not my area of expertise, I am doing my best to establish the condition of each item that I am listing.

I tend to be quite detailed in my item descriptions, please READ all the details to decide if this item may interest you.

Now, on with the description ...

DANGER IS MY BUSINESS - Super 8 Film

This appears to be a series, this copy is titled

TOKYO STEELMAN

Catalogue # unknown

Full Colour

Sound (Mono)

Run time: approximately 8 minutes

Released by IE International (Italy)

Intriguing title, and now that I have watched this film I can tell you that it is about the Japanese "human fly" (as the English speaking narrator calls them). These are the brave, courageous steel workers who apparently work on steel towers up to 1000 feet high (!) then we also have interesting shots of the workers taking tea way up at the top of the tower they are working on - human flies? hmmm

COSMETIC CONDITION:

USED

CLEAN

Very good

Film stock and reel are undamaged, leader is fitted

Outer all plastic case is in very good condition - nice case actually!

NO names or other writing on the case

TESTING:

Tested with the ELMO ST 1200 I have available, and away we go ....

I have viewed/listened to around 2 minutes off the reel for testing

Leader is in good condition

No credits frame(s) that I noticed, just the titles.

Colour film and the colour is actually pretty good. Perhaps a little "Red shift" but definitely I can see other colours as well - not too bad.

Sound is good, crisp and clear so I had no trouble following what was going on - the narrator is a male with American accent.

I am very fastidious and careful with these Super 8 films and I have now packed the film package within sealed, clear plastic while it awaits a new owner

USED EXACTLY as described
