COLCLOUGH (LONGTON) - Saucer ONLY
Trade name: Colclough
Fine bone china
Translucent china, meaning that when held to the light, you can see the shadow of your fingers through the chinaware
Hand decorated
Base colouring top and underneath is a bright White
Pattern (6739) comprises three sprays of Red, Yellow, Pink & Blue flowers. Between each spray of flowers is a geometric pattern, no idea what it is supposed to represent but the colouring is vivid and these contrast well with the flowers.
Hand gold gilding applied to the scalloped rim
DIMENSIONS:
145mm diameter and quite "dish shaped" as it is an estimated 20mm deep
BACKSTAMP DETAILS:

CLEAN
NO cracks
NO discolouration or wear to the decorations
NO cuts or knife marks to the central area

I do see three (3) very small fleabites on the underside - there is no bacterial ingress into the ceramic material (no Brown or Yellow marks) and I have sterilised the area just to make sure (Iso Alcohol spray then washed)
The heavy Gold gilding is in very good condition with no signs of handling or washing wear
