HISTORY:
Another oldie but a goodie, the domestic market twin cassette recorder KXF-W4010 from Kenwood. I had actually been using this as one of my cassette test machines but then I noticed one deck was having drive belt issues plus the high frequency response was dropping off on that deck, the head needed replacing. I decided it was not worth the effort (for me) to service the machine so it has now been on the 'operating table', this is one of those parts extracted ...
This model was released to the market in the period 1998~99 and it looked something like this (case colours varied)
Don't have the KXF-W4010?
It is possible that this motor MAY suit use with other cassette transport modules but it is up to the buyer to establish the suitability before purchasing.
If you wanted to check, service manuals for this Kenwood (and many other models) are readily available online.

This advertisement is for the main transport drive motor only. I have left the original ribbon cable intact, ready to solder onto another PCB.

DIMENSIONS:
BODY: 34.2mm diameter x 20.5mm height
2x threaded bolts for securing to the transport frame (bolts included)
SHAFT: 10mm length with top side Black plastic pulley (twin belt) 11.9mm diameter
COSMETIC CONDITION:
USED
Removed from the fully functioning machine, no issues with the machine transport mechanism at all, which means this motor was (prior to removal) functioning fine.
NO damage to the body
NO damage to external connection strip on the side of the motor, to which the ribbon cable is soldered.
CLEAN
NO damage to the Black pulley installed on the shaft - I have not attempted to remove this
Now packaged in a sealed, clear plastic packet awaiting the opportunity to bring another W4010 back to life!
