HISTORY:

This video survelliance camera was ex our business production monitoring system, now no longer needed because 1) I have now retired and 2) the survelliance equipment underwent considerable upgrades as technology forever moves on

This camera is old, analog technology but a nice solid, flexible camera head, for general purpose monitoring particularly in low ambient light levels

PANASONIC - Video Survelliance Camera ONLY

Model: WV-CP244EX

TV Lens 5 ~ 40mm F1.6 8x optical zoom

This 5 ~ 50mm lens allows for viewing of much greater than normal distances albeit with a narrower viewing angle.

At F1.4, minimum lux 1.5

Very good video quality, particularly when used in extremely low level ambient light levels - there is NO IR emitter built into this camera, so to provide video in "darkness" an external IR floodlight illuminating the target area would be required (but of course detectable by an unwelcome visitor)

480L resolution

Output: BNC female

Dip switch at the rear to control ALC, Sharpness etc

24V AC input (screw connectors) - you will need a 24V AC source, I am NOT supplying the power source. A power pack providing around 150 - 200mA per camera is ample or if you are lucky, your survelliance control system will provide this 24V for you.

2x Female thread mounts on the base

DIMENSIONS:

183mm length x 67mm x 65mm

WEIGHT: 460g

CLEAN

NO damage EXCEPT I have just noticed that the small screw in knob for the focus ring is missing! This is not the end of the world, adjustment is still easy using a small diameter screwdriver or similar - there is no knob to hold onto now. See one of the photographs where I indicate the missing knob.

Only ever used indoors so it has not been exposed to the 'elements'

Always been stored by us (after decommissioning) in a sealed clear plastic package to protect it (and the lens particularly) from the environment.

USED Exactly as described
