These are the "grand daddy's" of the record world, VERY LARGE - see the photograph where I have placed a CD with the transcription disc for a size comparison.
I used to have the equipment to play these (you need a VERY LARGE platter) but no longer, below I am describing the surface condition and contents according to the label on each side of the recording.
These were never intended for domestic use, exclusively used within the radio broadcasting industry, at 16 inches diameter these are way too large to fit the home record player!
Being large and reasonably fragile, we will ship these and pay great attention to the packaging to ensure no damage occurs in transit.
We cannot supply new sleeves etc, we have none this large!
These were actually rescued from a bush fire and so have some light marks to the OUTER vanilla sleeve but ABSOLUTELY NO damage to the media - NO bending, warping or other nasties - if I saw any issues when I inspected them, I have noted this in the description. All inspections have been extremely carefully and thoroughly undertaken.
Handling these discs once again after many years, they remind me of the old 8 inch floppy disc but much much bigger!
