USA release (1st pressing Santa Maria)
Gateford cover is in good condition. meaning there are no seam splits, no personal writing with just light edge wear from handling but the front and rear cover graphics have some handling wear. Inside the gatefold (monochrome) the pages are fine but with some light mildew marks around the spine area. Included is the original printed paper sleeve (promo's for compilation albums from Warner/Reprise) and a single page lyric sheet - this sheet does have some mildew spotting on the rear plain White background too.
NOTE: This is the release which has two tracks mispelt on the rear cover ...
Woman From Toyko (Woman From Tokayo)
Super Trouper (Super Trooper)
Although the original paper sleeve is being supplied, the vinyl record will be in a new plastic liner sleeve
The vinyl is in good condition, visually examined carefully under a bright White halogen light source and I can see a couple of very light scratches/scuff marks on each side of the record. Just looking at the vinyl is not a great way to judge the condition so I then played the ENTIRE album, every track, and there are no significant issues with surface noise nor clicks/pops - a really good play from Purple
ANOTHER NOTE: "Funny looking" this vinyl, when held to the light I can see "patterns" on the shiny vinyl surface but this is not any sort of leeching that I have ever seen before. Looked very closely down at the grooves and I cannot see this pattern, it is something to do with the way the light is being reflected back off the vinyl. It appears to have no effect on the audio anyway.
New outer protective sleeve
