Make no mistake, this is an unofficial release of these very early recordings made of The Beatles, in fact I cannot find any OFFICIAL label releases of this album in any case. Originally these were mono recordings but this is a stereo release, no idea who created this "pseudo stereo" recording though.
We ran a legit audio post production business for many years but a previous employee sent me this unofficial copy that they had proudly obtained while holidaying in Europe, for a listen because we used to have a lot of very early Beatles recordings, especially from Hamburg. Interesting to hear the boys (with Pete Best on the skins) in their very early days but like all the vinyl I am surrounded by these days, it must find a new caring musical history - vinyl freak!
Oh, and read the rear liner notes but keep in mind it is a nice story about the Beatles, not strict non-fiction. If you would like to know more about the guys who created that little blurb on the album, take a look HERE

Cover is an interesting diecut design using a large front central cutout so that the vinyl can be viewed when inside the cover. A plain clear plastic sleeve is used to protect the vinyl. No record labelling on either side, just a central Red dot (Side A) and a Black dot (the other side). The only place I could find the catalogue number was on the spine, which also says just BEATLES not THE BEATLES. The heavy cardboard cover is in very good condition, "like new" in fact with no marks, no personal writing, no tears or seam damage. All edges look pristine with very little if any signs of handling.
New inner clear plastic sleeve has been used
Vinyl is in very good condition, it is just a tad bit difficult to see scratches or marks on crystal clear vinyl but I looked very carefully and could not see anything out of the ordinary. Just taking a look at the vinyl doesn't cut it, it may look great but you need to actually play the entire release to make an accurate judgement on the condition so I then played the ENTIRE vinyl, every single track on both sides. There are no issues with surface noise nor clicks/pops - a very good playback of recordings made over 60 years ago!
