Cassette packaging is in good condition, some light handling marks to the cassette case but definitely no cracks or missing parts! Clean insert and the cassette labelling is Black & White paper based.

Before playing I repacked the tape, and visually inspected carefully the clamshell, rollers and head pressure pad - no issues with the shell or tape at all

This is a White plastic welded type clamshell so if ever it was required to "get inside" to relube, etc then the best of luck because getting this "into" this type of clamshell is extremely difficult and usually you will end up destroying the tape.

I have then played this tape entirely, crisp clean sound and no problems at all with no "drop outs" (on either side) or high frequency loss heard. Frequency response off the tape is wide and I also listened carefully for "tape hiss" at the start of tape, end of tape and between tracks and the level is very very low, indicating that the tape has seen very little play time. That said, some annoyances with this tape ... I played this on one of my auto reverse machines and there is a lengthy silence on each side before it reaches the end of tape and starts playing the "other side". I also noticed (with surprise) that the tape has NO leader fitted at all, normally a cassette tape will have a clear or blue length of leader before the beginning of the magnetic tape proper - this release does not, surprising for an EMI product.
