Whip antenna is rubberised, flexible and measures 166mm length with no sign of a helical loading coil, making it a 1/2 wave antenna at 900Mhz
The top section of the whip antenna screws into the base.
Originally intended for use as an external antenna for mobile phone communications on the CDMA network (900/1800Mhz) but perfectly adaptable to other radio equipment in the UHF spectrum.
Supplied with the metal vehicle "window grip" mount and RF coax (1.4 metres long)
Termination connector is an FME type (good to 2GHz), not often found these days so you will need to either source an adapter to suit your needs OR cut off the FME and fit a suitable plug yourself.
