These small signal semiconductors are all "pulls" from yet another amplifier in my audio equipment "maybe I will fix that one day" collection. I actually had a few of these V2's, some being used to service others and now I had just one left, destined to become an "organ donor"

You might be wondering "why did he turn his amp into an organ donor?"

Its sad but after years of great service, the special original Technics ST8040 power blocks gave up the ghost. You may see ST8040 blocks online, BEWARE! they are not as they seem - I have had nothing but trouble with blocks unless they are marked TECHNICS NEW CLASS A ST8040, also look for the batch code on the rear. Unfortunately these genuine ST8040's are hard to 'come by'. Added to that, there was also an intermittent issue with the preamp board slide switches so I decided that it was time to put the amp out for pasture and by extracting some useful components, giving "life" to another SU-V2 amp in need of tender loving care.

I am very big on sustainability, re-using or re-purposing equipment (no matter how old it is) because a LOT of EE (Embedded Energy) was used to create these items from our past and to throw something like this away, poison our landfill etc is just so irresponsible.

I have carefully removed AND tested every single device, they are all known to be working (some test results are showing below for each device type) and they are offered as a "family" because they like to live together in the V2! I am not offering to split up particular device types.

If this V2 part is not what you are looking for, you might like to click HERE to see the other V2 spare parts I have had or that are currently available

TECHNICS Stereo Amplifier

Model: SU-V2 (Australian release)

Various small signal semiconductors - EXCLUDING the power output blocks

All devices extracted from the main board.

I have gone to a lot of time and trouble to ensure the parts are carefully removed, tested where feasible and correctly labelled/packaged - the name of the game is sustainability, saving things that once again can be bought "back to life" - this is certainly not a money making exercise (I spent quite a bit of time on these!)

First up are some small signal diodes ... not that special but perhaps useful to someone. These are glass encapsulated and test as Silicon based, not Germanium. Forward voltage drop on all diodes measured at 700mV

Marking on the glass is a bit obscure, just 04, and I have 5 of these in the pack

WARNING: For those who do not already know this ... the entry point of the wires into the glass encapsulation is VERY delicate, do not overly bend or twist these wires or the device will be destroyed!

Transistors appear to be Panasonic manufacture and are:

2SA564A PNP hFE range 135 ~ 186 (test results) Number of devices = 4

2SA1013 PNP hFE          140           (test results) Number of devices = 1

2SA1015 PNP hFE range 125 ~ 150 (test results) Number of devices = 3

2SA1124 PNP hFE          225           (test results) Number of devices = 1

2SA1815 NPN hFE range 100 ~ 135 (test results) Number of devices = 5

2SC2320 NPN hFE range 325 ~ 415* High gain (test results) Number of devices = 4

2SC2632 NPN hFE range 110 ~ 120 (test results) Number of devices = 2

Total of 20 small signal transistors overall

All devices originally had "wavy" legs, seems to have been preformed for production purposes. I have straightened the legs so that I could make accurate tests of each device.

No leads have been cut, ALL have been de-soldered off the board (quickly!)

All of these semiconductors will be supplied as in the photograph, clearly (separately) in sealed plastic packets and easily identifiable.

USED Equipment pulls, ALL have been tested OK Exactly as described
