HISTORY:
Sustainability is the name of the game! Anything (that has been tested and still functioning properly) should be repurposed creating saving in wasted Ee and reducing the poisoning our environment when items are buried in the earth at the local tip needlessly.
Never heard of Ee? It is a concept that creates a measurement of ALL things (not just electronics) that humans have made and the energy used in obtaining the raw material, processing the materials right through to a finished product and even should include the shipping of the item to the distributors/retailers.

This connector showed itself to me while clearing up a few boxes of connectors left from my previous audio production business activities.
These DIN standard connectors are often found on European designed & manufactured audio equipment.
This connector is NEW but I could not find any branding, I was expected to see some indication of Hirschmann (one of the major DIN manufacturers in Europe) but zip, zilch nada zero on the markings - nice plug though Gov!

Outer body is a light Grey pliable plastic material, typically used in consumer DIN connectors.
As with most DIN consumer connectors, no screws, everything push fits into place very nicely and the final securing point is the push on boot at the point of entry.

NO damage to the body
NO damage to the pins and all both the pins and solder cups are clean and shiny
Now packed into a sealed clear plastic packet
